With the light of the early sun It was the first time I really noticed the quality of their feathers up close. Not just gray, but layered with rust, ash, and pale gold depending on how the light hit them. That observation guided how I created this piece.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe two forms move as a pair rather than a single figure, echoing the way cranes themselves move in tandem.
