Currents Above

Under every forest floor lies a second world of mycelium threading through soil and branching roots in a silent negotiation. Microbial networks trading nutrients and information in a language older than trees. Currents Above looks skyward from that hidden world, tracing how the visible canopy reaches leaves, catching and consuming light. We only ever see half the story. What lays below shapes, moment to moment, every part of our above ground life.

This piece is an original, hand-carved work based on a design I've created before, while the composition is consistent, each piece is individually made and may vary slightly in color, grain, and detail.

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster. Avoid direct sunlight and high-humidity environments, which can cause wood to expand, contract, or fade over time. If you have questions about caring for your specific piece, feel free to reach out.

Most pieces are made to order, with a lead time of 6-8 weeks (up to 3 months for larger or more complex work). If you need a piece by a specific date, please get in touch before ordering so we can confirm timing.

Flatter wall pieces ship via UPS. Larger sculptural and freight-shipped pieces are quoted individually, contact us for a shipping quote.
