Entwined Together

We are all entwined together, whether we feel it or not. Our lives are tied to the natural world, and the natural world is tied to us, for better and for worse. Building this piece during the Covid 19 pandemic made that truth feel especially clear, and it became a meditation on the connections we share with each other and the world around us. I chose mosaic because its many parts, fitted snugly together, echo that same sense of togetherness. In a perfect world, everything would be in harmony. In this one, we can at least try to do better.

Made to order, please allow 6–8 weeks. This piece is an original, hand-carved work based on a design I've created before. While the composition is consistent, each piece is individually made and may vary slightly in color, grain, and detail.

Shipping: UPS

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster. Avoid direct sunlight and high-humidity environments, which can cause wood to expand, contract, or fade over time. If you have questions about caring for your specific piece, feel free to reach out.

Most pieces are made to order, with a lead time of 6-8 weeks (up to 3 months for larger or more complex work). If you need a piece by a specific date, please get in touch before ordering so we can confirm timing.

Flatter wall pieces ship via UPS. Larger sculptural and freight-shipped pieces are quoted individually, contact us for a shipping quote.
