Oyster Shell Table

The Oyster Shell Table places the viewer in the midst of a swelling wave or shifting current. Its swooping cantilevered top and flowing base create the sense of an aquatic landscape, where the boundaries between land, water, and movement seem to dissolve.
The form draws from the fluid shapes and quiet movement found in coastal environments. There is something inherently immersive about the piece, inviting the body to move around it and experience its changing contours from different perspectives.
I believe art is meant to be lived with. Oyster Shell Table is both an artwork and a functional object, inviting touch, use, and interaction. It reflects my belief that to live with art is to live well, allowing art to become part of our everyday surroundings rather than something kept at a distance.

Made to order, please allow 6–8 weeks. This piece is an original, hand-carved work based on a design I've created before. While the composition is consistent, each piece is individually made and may vary slightly in color, grain, and detail.

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster. Avoid direct sunlight and high-humidity environments, which can cause wood to expand, contract, or fade over time. If you have questions about caring for your specific piece, feel free to reach out.
Most pieces are made to order, with a lead time of 6-8 weeks (up to 3 months for larger or more complex work). If you need a piece by a specific date, please get in touch before ordering so we can confirm timing.

Care and the handmade promise
Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid direct sunlight and high humidity, which can affect the wood over time. Each piece is finished with a protective topcoat, so no oiling, waxing, or additional treatment is needed — simply keep it clean and out of harsh conditions to preserve its natural matte finish.
Because each piece is handmade, small differences in grain, tone, and surface are natural. The variation is the signature of something made by a person, not a machine.
Each order is wrapped by hand and packed to travel safely. Made-to-order pieces typically take 6 to 8 weeks to complete, with larger or more complex pieces taking up to 3 months. You'll receive tracking as soon as it leaves the studio.
All sales on made-to-order and custom pieces are final. If your piece arrives damaged, please contact us with photos within 10 days of delivery, and we'll arrange a repair, replacement, or refund.
