Pillars has a quiet, organic presence, suggesting the vertical growth of trees or stems reaching upward from the earth. The differing heights create a subtle rhythm, like forms found together in a natural landscape.
I am interested in the way these pieces can exist somewhere between sculpture and everyday life. Pillars is intended to be lived with and used, becoming part of the spaces and routines of daily life.
For me, this is part of what makes art compelling. By bringing organic forms and the feeling of nature into our everyday surroundings, it can help reconnect us to the natural world.

Made to order, please allow 6–8 weeks. This piece is an original, hand-carved work based on a design I've created before. While the composition is consistent, each piece is individually made and may vary slightly in color, grain, and detail.

Most pieces are made to order, with a lead time of 6-8 weeks (up to 3 months for larger or more complex work). If you need a piece by a specific date, please get in touch before ordering so we can confirm timing.
Flatter wall pieces ship via UPS. Larger sculptural and freight-shipped pieces are quoted individually, contact us for a shipping quote.

Care and the handmade promise
Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid direct sunlight and high humidity, which can affect the wood over time. Each piece is finished with a protective topcoat, so no oiling, waxing, or additional treatment is needed — simply keep it clean and out of harsh conditions to preserve its natural matte finish.
Because each piece is handmade, small differences in grain, tone, and surface are natural. The variation is the signature of something made by a person, not a machine.
Each order is wrapped by hand and packed to travel safely. Made-to-order pieces typically take 6 to 8 weeks to complete, with larger or more complex pieces taking up to 3 months. You'll receive tracking as soon as it leaves the studio.
All sales on made-to-order and custom pieces are final. If your piece arrives damaged, please contact us with photos within 10 days of delivery, and we'll arrange a repair, replacement, or refund.
