Currents Below

Beneath every forest floor lies the mysterious realm of mycelium threading through the soil, through roots branching. Directing microbial networks trading nutrients and information in a language older than trees. Currents Below moves into that hidden architecture directly: the tangle of connection running underground, an alternate reality moving alongside our own, mostly unnoticed and entirely essential.

Maple and walnut wood, birch bark, glass, aluminum, paint. 32 x 60 x 3 in.
Made to order, 6–8 weeks. Shipping: UPS

This piece is an original, hand-carved work based on a design I've created before, while the composition is consistent, each piece is individually made and may vary slightly in color, grain, and detail.

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster. Avoid direct sunlight and high-humidity environments, which can cause wood to expand, contract, or fade over time. If you have questions about caring for your specific piece, feel free to reach out.

Most pieces are made to order, with a lead time of 6-8 weeks (up to 3 months for larger or more complex work). If you need a piece by a specific date, please get in touch before ordering so we can confirm timing.

Flatter wall pieces ship via UPS. Larger sculptural and freight-shipped pieces are quoted individually, contact us for a shipping quote.

Once your piece ships, you'll receive a tracking notification by email.
