Dream Flight

At the threshold of dream and waking consciousness, the mind takes flight, a fleeting world made visible, like rime ice that gathers overnight and evaporates into mist by morning.

I created this piece to hold that threshold a little longer, like the moment just before waking, when the dream is still more real than the room.

This piece is an original, hand-carved work based on a design I've created before, while the composition is consistent, each piece is individually made and may vary slightly in color, grain, and detail.
