Seaweed Table

Seaweed Table is an exploration of the mysterious world beneath the surface of the ocean. Seaweed beds create their own living landscapes, moving with currents and providing shelter and habitat for an extraordinary variety of life. We see only glimpses of this world, entering it occasionally while most of it remains beyond our everyday experience.

There is something playful about imagining this hidden landscape brought into our homes. The table invites a sense of curiosity and wonder, as though a small piece of an underwater world has surfaced into our everyday lives.

I am interested in creating objects that connect us with the natural world and remind us of the many living landscapes that exist alongside our own.

Made to order, please allow 6–8 weeks. This piece is an original, hand-carved work based on a design I've created before. While the composition is consistent, each piece is individually made and may vary slightly in color, grain, and detail.

Shipping: Freight

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster. Avoid direct sunlight and high-humidity environments, which can cause wood to expand, contract, or fade over time. If you have questions about caring for your specific piece, feel free to reach out.

Most pieces are made to order, with a lead time of 6-8 weeks (up to 3 months for larger or more complex work). If you need a piece by a specific date, please get in touch before ordering so we can confirm timing.

Flatter wall pieces ship via UPS. Larger sculptural and freight-shipped pieces are quoted individually, contact us for a shipping quote.
