Soul Space

I am interested in the quiet knowledge that exists within us, the part of ourselves that knows something before we can explain it. In a world that often asks us to follow familiar paths and fit ourselves into expected forms, it can be difficult to hear that small inner voice asking to be noticed, nurtured, and honored.

Soul Space is about the movement of emotion within that vulnerable interior space, and the courage it can take to listen to what is asking to be heard. Sometimes that voice leads us somewhere unexpected, somewhere that does not fit the shape we thought our lives were supposed to take.

Like a great wind moving through a landscape, the inner world can eventually shift everything around it when it can no longer be suppressed. For me, this work is about trusting that movement and allowing ourselves to discover where it leads.

Made to order, please allow 6–8 weeks. This piece is an original, hand-carved work based on a design I've created before. While the composition is consistent, each piece is individually made and may vary slightly in color, grain, and detail.

Shipping: UPS

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster. Avoid direct sunlight and high-humidity environments, which can cause wood to expand, contract, or fade over time. If you have questions about caring for your specific piece, feel free to reach out.

Most pieces are made to order, with a lead time of 6-8 weeks (up to 3 months for larger or more complex work). If you need a piece by a specific date, please get in touch before ordering so we can confirm timing.

Flatter wall pieces ship via UPS. Larger sculptural and freight-shipped pieces are quoted individually, contact us for a shipping quote.
