I like the idea of a mirror as a portal, an opening into another space that appears to exist just beyond our reach. We encounter our own reflection, but for a moment it can feel as though we are looking through rather than simply looking at.
Vanity Mirror plays with that sense of possibility. A familiar everyday object becomes a small threshold between what is known and what might be imagined. There is something curious about a portal. We know it cannot take us somewhere else, yet part of us still wants to see what might be on the other side.

Made to order, please allow 6–8 weeks. This piece is an original, hand-carved work based on a design I've created before. While the composition is consistent, each piece is individually made and may vary slightly in color, grain, and detail.
Shipping: UPS
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster. Avoid direct sunlight and high-humidity environments, which can cause wood to expand, contract, or fade over time. If you have questions about caring for your specific piece, feel free to reach out.
Most pieces are made to order, with a lead time of 6-8 weeks (up to 3 months for larger or more complex work). If you need a piece by a specific date, please get in touch before ordering so we can confirm timing.
Flatter wall pieces ship via UPS. Larger sculptural and freight-shipped pieces are quoted individually, contact us for a shipping quote.

Every piece is wheel-thrown from stoneware and glazed by hand in our studio. This one wears our signature finish, so slight variation in tone and texture is part of it, never a flaw. No two are exactly alike.
Care and the handmade promise
Dishwasher and microwave safe. For pieces you love, a gentle hand wash keeps the glaze looking its best over the years. Avoid sudden temperature changes, like moving straight from freezer to oven.
Yes. Every glaze we use is food safe and lead free, fired to a durable stoneware finish that is safe for daily eating and drinking.
Because each piece is thrown and glazed by hand, small differences in size, tone, and surface are natural. The variation is the signature of something made by a person, not a machine.
Each order is wrapped by hand and packed to travel safely. Made-to-order pieces ship within two to three weeks. You will get tracking as soon as it leaves the studio.
If something arrives damaged, send us a photo within seven days and we will make it right with a replacement or refund. Unused pieces can be returned within 30 days.
