Wild in Nature

From a place of curiosity, Wild in Nature emerged as an exploration of what it might mean to feel fully part of the natural world. I imagine the figure as a kind of goddess of nature, held within a web of life and encompassed by a serpent of time.

I am interested in the ebb and flow between ourselves and the world around us, and in the balance, reciprocity, and exchange that allow life to flourish. To me, being wild is not simply about escaping what is familiar. It is about remaining curious about the deeper parts of ourselves and recognizing that we are encompassed by a world far larger than we can fully understand.

There is something liberating in that perspective. To feel part of nature is also to imagine ourselves as part of something limitless.

Made to order, please allow 6–8 weeks. This piece is an original, hand-carved work based on a design I've created before. While the composition is consistent, each piece is individually made and may vary slightly in color, grain, and detail.

Shipping: Freight

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster. Avoid direct sunlight and high-humidity environments, which can cause wood to expand, contract, or fade over time. If you have questions about caring for your specific piece, feel free to reach out.

Most pieces are made to order, with a lead time of 6-8 weeks (up to 3 months for larger or more complex work). If you need a piece by a specific date, please get in touch before ordering so we can confirm timing.

Flatter wall pieces ship via UPS. Larger sculptural and freight-shipped pieces are quoted individually, contact us for a shipping quote.
